KDSG Releases N1.02b for Payment to Batch 20 State and Batch 18 Local Government Retirees and Families of Deceased under the Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS)

The Kaduna State Government has approved the sum of N1,027,730,217.00 for the payment of gratuity for Batch 20 state and Batch 18 local government retirees and death benefits for families under the Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS).

The sum of N400m has been allocated to the payment of Batch 20 state retirees and families of the deceased, while N627,730,217.00 was allocated for the payment of Batch 18 local government retirees and families of the deceased.

This latest release comes a few weeks after the approval of N1.16B by Governor Nasir El Rufai for the payment of Batch 17 Local Government and Batch 19 State Government Gratuity to retirees and families of deceased retirees under the Defined Benefits Scheme (DBS).
