Total RSA Registration with Age & Gender Breakdown as at 31 March 2022

National Pension Commission (PenCom) has disclosed that the total number of Retirement Savings Account (RSA) Registrations as at 31 March 2022 is 9,621,979, this shows an increase of 32,258 for the Month of March 2022 compared to the 9,589,721 as at 28 February 2022.

The 32,258 Retirement Savings Accounts (RSA) registrations for the month of March 2022 is lower than the 37,225 for the month of February 2022 but when compared to the RSA registrations for the past twelve (12) months, it’s well above average.

Analysis of RSA registrations based on age as at 31 March 2022 revealed that 73.1% are below the age of 40 years. This points to the increasing sustainability of the CPS, as the younger generation make up a substantial percentage of RSA holders. Regarding gender distribution, 69.94% of RSA holders are male, while 30.06% are female.
